YIA 2026 Recipient
MOASC Cary Presant Young Investigator Award
The 2026 Award recipient is Arjan Gower, MD, Clinical Instructor in the Division of Hem. /Onc. at the UCLA David Geffen School of Medicine, for his research in “Predictive pharmacodynamics biomarker using circulating tumor DNA for datopotamab deruxtecan in advanced lung cancer.” The research will investigate the potential use of circulating tumor DNA (ctDNA) as a predictive pharmacodynamics biomarker to better understand and monitor treatment response in patients with advanced lung cancer receiving datopotamab deruxtecan.
“This recognition is incredibly encouraging and reflects the importance of supporting innovative research that can ultimately improve outcomes for patients with advanced lung cancer,” said Sumanta Pal, MD, FASCO, President of MOASC. “We are proud to support Dr. Gower’s work and believe this research has meaningful potential to advance our understanding of how we can better predict and monitor treatment response.”
