  • VOLUNTEER AT THESECONDOPINION

Thesecondopinion is a community-based non-profit which provides free second opinions to patients with cancer in California. We run multidisciplinary Tumor Boards biweekly for 3 patients with 3-5 physicians on Zoom.

If you are a medical or radiation oncologist, radiologist, pathologist, or surgeon, in practice or retired, and wish to continue to use your skills to help patients, this is an excellent vehicle.

All information, imaging and pathology are sent in advance and a Panel Chair runs the meeting. Malpractice is provided. Patients and their families attend and direct the questioning.
