Last month this publication presented Medical Oncology Association of Southern California (MOASC) and National Oncology State Network (NOSN) communiques with Anthem Blue Cross representatives regarding white-bagging of drugs from CVS Specialty Pharmacy. California Legislature had an interesting year, passing a number of new laws in the midst of a pandemic that affect health care, resulting in considerable operational challenges. While the number of new laws overall is significantly reduced as compared to other years, there was a strong focus on the impacts of COVID-19 pandemic, allied health professionals, mental health, and workforce and labor issues.
