California Attorney General Xavier Becerra and California Assembly Member Jim Wood held a press conference to unveil new legislation that they say is aimed at curbing increasing drug prices. The bill will prohibit “collusive agreements in which a drug company transfers anything of value to delay a competitor’s research, marketing, or sale of a competing version of its drug.” To read more click here and go to California News.

More than a quarter of physicians (28%) report that the prior authorization process required by health insurers for certain drugs, tests and treatments have led to serious or life-threatening events for their patients according to a new survey by the American Medical Association.
